Gorgeous and spooky finds for your dark romance…

View LoveNaturally’s other Treasury lists

Ok, so I’m minding my own business at some store today, deciding whether or not I should wait in the 30 minute line for the 1 item I have in my hand, when some lady passes out or collapses or something right in front of the registers! What the h!@!#@ So then there are emergency guys and security guys and stuff all hovering around the person to take care of them….let’s take a deep breath, people. I know TX state tax is a crazy 8.25%, and tax free weekend is a BIG deal, but come on! I always see the most amazing things just going about my day-to-day activities. You? anything bizarro ever happen to you when you’re out living your life? Maybe it’s because I’m in the big city, but I hardly doubt it. Weirdness finds me, and that’s just a fact.

Back to what’s REALLY important…my girl’s vampire movie night that will HOPEFULLY take place tomorrow evening in my big fat living room. I may even pull out the hide-a-bed so we can all get comfy. Who knows. But I am pretty sure chocolate will be involved, and maybe some lime La Croix. That’s my foodie plug for the night. I am planning on probably New Moon, to be followed by my mysteriously acquired copy of Eclipse that I burned to dvd. I’m Team Edward all the way, so I’ll just have to endure New Moon until the last 30 minutes of Edward time. But I foresee it being a faboo night at the movies.

Just when you thought it was safe to surf the web again, I’m back! I’ve been all over the place, but neglecting my blog! What kind of faboo am I? Let’s talk about True Blood. It’s taking over the world. There are like 9 books in the Sookie Stackhouse Mystery Series, so will there be that many seasons to follow on HBO?? Holy crikey, I can only hope!! your thoughts?

You had me at ‘Vampire’

Just when you thought romance was dead. Just when you started to think, hmmm, maybe vampires are cliché, a new phenomenon is born. I’ve told my husband, “If you read the Twilight series, you will have the keys to unlock the secrets of a woman”. That peaked his interest, but he still hasn’t picked up the books.

So I anxiously trotted out to the huge theatre this morning for the first showtime of TWILIGHT, and we were an hour and a half early, just in case there was a line! Lucky for us it was in the morning, on a school day, and only supercool housewives and a handful of home-schoolers were in attendance. Perfect! I couldn’t be more exited, in my “You had me at ‘Vampire’ ” tshirt and Bella Twilight bracelet, with crystal heart and wolf charms. Showtime. I loved it, because I love the books so much. kudos. And Edward was super yummy. Big screen super yummy.
